Animoto is a free online video creating program that combines photographs anvd videos into unique video slideshows. You can customize videos and upload your own photos, videos and background music or use those in the theme-based Animoto Photos/Videos and Music Libraries. Text (limit to 30 characters) can also be added to images or to a blank slide. Videos can be shared with others via e-mail or embedded into other sites (blogs, wikkis etc.) Educators get a free upgrade of Animoto and all features are available (All Access account).

Videos created by students using education account are private and outsiders cannot contact students using these accounts
Students gather copyright free images and music and then analyze, plan and organize media using a storyboard
